I checked several sites and all show that the poster was being changed on Wed June 1 from missing to kidnapped. All show that this is the day the posters were hung at ISA. None had the info on the conversation with the headmaster however.
One more note, these friends flew down with Jug, not later. Remember they went to the VanderSloot house with him on Tue AM.
So, It appears it was in FACT Wednesday June 1 when Jug's friends were at the school and spoke to the headmaster.
That means it was Tuesday that the headmaster had his chat with Joran and Paulus. But we still do not have the time.
Paul both took Joran to school late on Tuesday (unless Deepak took him) and picked him up early as we know that Joran was busy with the police Tuesday morning until 7:30 AM and would have missed the bus. We also know that he was again questioned by police at 2:00 PM but school does not get out until 2:45 so Joran would have had to be picked up. Anita was still in Holland.
Still, Joran would have only learned of the Holiday Inn tape on Tuesday morning when he was questioned by Jug and the police, perhaps Jug or someone mentioned that he was not on the tape. Beth did say that she had reviewed the tapes at Holiday Inn during the time between 11:00 PM on Monday when they arrived and 3:00 AM Tues when they went to the JVDS home.
With this information, I think that Joran must have made up the story about a break in the tape and the swimming and hit her head story while he was at school on Tuesday. This talking at school caused Paulus to panic and call a meeting of everyone Joran spoke to and the cover-up began.

JUG There was a question I had from the beginning wher my friends, you met them all down there, my best friends came down to help me like on the 2nd day, they went to the headmaster, they went to the International School where Joran went to school and they had posters my daughter had made and they were actually writing on there, I think Beth changed missing to kidnapped, they wrote on the bottom of them 'ask Joran van der Sloot and they were sticking 'em up in the school. Of course that's my friends but anyway , so the business mgr came out and asked 'whoa, who are you guys, FBI' and they said no we can't tell you and they continued to hand them to kids so then the headmaster cones out and says come into my office and he was a nice guy, he actually, they all sat down in his office and he told the story of how Joran and the father came in the day before and they discussed a little bit about happened and they said something to the effect that Joran, the father said, in front of the headmaster, Joran you have to come clean, you've already admitted you had relations with Natalee and you know we need to tell the true story, something like that, I don't know, but then the headmaster said I understand the video tape at the hotel had a break in it so that's why they didn't see him pull up in the front of the Holiday Inn and then he said I also understand they may have been swimming and and she may have hit her head and I'm going, now wait a minute, how does a headmaster know all this kind of stuff 2 days later?
GVS Did the police talk to the headmaster
JUG They said they did.
GVS Have you found out what they said?
JUG No, a lot of these details they don't discuss with you.

JUG Oh yeah, I tried to tell'em look I've got 3 guys sit down telling me, told this story, why would Joran tell the headmaster the reason they didn't see 'em pull up, this is when they were still talking about the Holiday Inn, why whould he tell 'em there was a break in the tape and that why they couldn't see his car when he dropped Natalee off? I mean there's just all kinds of stuff like that.
