The nameless faceless judges of the Dutch kingdom

No matter how right you are. No matter how hard you try. Sometimes the dragon wins. Remember it is only a battle, not the war.
Aruba will die as it should or the PIMPS will continue to rape and molest tourists that are stupid enough to travel there. Either way, Natalee did not die in vain. Her death served as a big wake up call to travelors worldwide, our predators are getting younger thanks to the coaching of their parents and governments which encourage sick and perverted behavior as long as it does not affect their economy. Shame on Aruba, the Netherlands and the other countries which support pedohiles and encourage the sexual abuse of women of children. May you be blessed with mother nature's violent wrath.

Breezy, this is a sad post. You sound beaten. I know this has been a very trying time for you. I hope you find your family soon.
With limited phones, it is difficult. There is room for 14- 16 here, more if necessary. Jolie's family was located at the Astrodome and flew in last night. They are staying at Bridi's house.

I Give Up On Stressing Over Natalee Holloway

By Rebeez
Sept. 3, 2005

Okay, I give up on stressing over Natalee Holloway. Her mother, and Natalee's father, family and friends, must continue to seek answers and insist on justice. I pray that they find their daughter, and I hope that the ones responsible are caught and spend the rest of their lives in jail.

Death is too easy for human insects who prey on the innocent. They need time to suffer for their crimes; time to stare at blank walls for years and worry about their safety while confined in a nest of other human insects.

I had planned to go to Aruba. My mother, 65 years old, told me weeks ago that no one in my family was allowed to visit Aruba. After all, she said, "An Alabama girl who went to Aruba is missing!"

We are from Alabama, and I attended college at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, so the tragedy seems close to home and reminds us of our southern roots.

Still, I thought my mother was overreacting. I argued that no one is safe anywhere; can't blame Aruba for the disappearance of a teenager; we can't stop fulfilling our dreams or allow fear to change our lives. After all, no one is safe. We might open the door without knowing who is on the other side and meet violence. We may go to the grocery, open our car door, something we've done numerous times before, and not know that this time a psycho with a gun will steal, rape and change our lives forever.

Even church can be a violent place, as we see from the news, and church men are capable of incredible carnage, treating humans as waste products; fodder for their ego and sexual gratification.

So I argued with my mother that Aruba can't be blamed.

But I have changed my mind, and I will find another island in which to fulfill my dream of a relaxing Caibbean place in which to soak sun and enjoy a few days of vacation.

Aruba's laws and their appearance of trying to solve this case are sounding more and more like a cover up. They may have allowed Beth Twitty and her supporters to "tear up Aruba," as some have said, but Aruba has not proven to have the ability or desire to solve this complex situation. The family has had to insist on an investigation where the authorities are inept and possibly self-serving.

So although I disagreed with my mother in the beginning, I have decided that I will not visit Aruba. With so many beautiful places in the world, I will not spend my time or money on an island where a crime has occurred and the local government has been a hindrance instead of dedicated professionals intent on discovering and solving this crime. I don't care about their politics, except for the fact that their ignorance has made me decide that my mother is right. We will avoid Aruba, and I have decided that that island is no longer my vacation destination. i will choose any other place than Aruba in my future travels, and I hope that you do, too.
