Lorenzo Van Rijn
Very little is really known about the infamous 23 year old Lorenzo Van Rijn but the rumors fly. We have heard that his father is both Paulus Van der Sloot and a man that owned a VW dealership in Aruba that may have committed suicide a few years ago. This photo of Lorenzo was taken on the Tattoo . Photos 112 and 115 include Steve Croes, 116 is of Lorenzo.
We have heard that he lives in the largest house in Aruba and is a big-time drug dealer. His house in Jaraweg has a basement and supposedly some of Natalee's clothes were found there. He is supposed to own a cigarette boat.
What we haven't heard is that Lorenzo Van Rijn and Jaime Carrasquilla are more than likely one and the same person. If you study the comparison photos at the top you'll see the likeness. Granted his hair is bleached blonde and his eyebrows are grown out, he appears to be wearing aplenty of sunscreen to keep his naturally dark complexion from getting more sun than necessary and the oils show in his skin. He may even be donning colored contacts in one photo.
Or he he really blonde and dyes his hair dark and sports a tan to look Columbian, even adopting a Columbian name?

It look like the same person to me. The shape of the face, jawline, eyes and nose are the same.
They look similar, but I would have to see better head shots, the chin and the cheekbones look a little off to me. Could be lighting. Not much input from me, sorry.....maybe there are more shots of them on the tickle pages?
After checking the other pictures of Jamie and Joran and looking at Jamies tickle site I agree this is the same person. I do think he is naturally blond (dutch) trying to look Columbian. Notice on his tickle page that he does not list Spanish as his first language. His favorite sports team is one AC Milan known for having famous Dutch soccer players not South American or Columbian players.
IMHO, this is the same person.
On Jaime's tickle site is a friend named 'Terri'. On her site she has a friend named Ruben Trapenberg . Is this the same Ruben Trapenberg we've been seeing on Fox as a gov't spokesperson?
Yes that is the same Ruben Trappenberg and the Tito lacle is the same attorney that Greta interviews.
After checking the tickle sites and really looking at the pictures I have to agree that they do appear to be the same person. Interesting that he would have two identities. I didn't take notes nor did I have time to go back and confirm but it seemed that there was another male that carried two identities as well. Makes you wonder if they live an "underground" life of sorts? The reports do indicate that Joran was a different person when our partying than he was at home or at school. I thought that was a pretty normal observation at first, but with the different identities it seems there may be more to it.

I recieved an interesting email today from someone emailing from Germany. How they might know these people is curious and the failure to give any verification to the claims makes them hardly credible but I will post them here in the comments section for everyone to see.
The issues on Alex Matthew could have merit if the Judge had not "lost" all of the evidence. It is a shame that we may never know the truth.
I'm sending this anonymously as I don't want to get involved. I am
pretty sure that the guy in dreadlock is "Brian" and is not the same person as the one picture next to him. I am certain of this.
Mathew is a trouble maker. Everyone that lives here in Aruba knows that and no one paid attention to his claims. He is a convicted felon. I think he was originally jailed for armed robbery and when in jail he was constantly in problems. He assaulted Prison Warden in a very vicious way. He claimed torture and what have you but everyone knows he's the trouble maker. He used some pictures that were clearly fake(set up) to claim human rights abuse and torture and now that he's out of jail want revenge for which he's using his american wife for.
Solo, Letfreedomring, Bridi, Watcher and Dejarose, thanks for the comments. It is difficult with the blown up photos but it was harder before I enlarged them.
My high-speed internet should be connected this week so I will have more time to dedicate to this. Right now I am using IH's T-1 and got spoiled. But it is being shut off and I have to go home sometime.

I just read your blog regarding Lorenzo/Jaime. Hard to say, but if you visit his www.myspace.com profile, it shows him as 5-11", blonde hair.

Thanks Dan I guess that verifies it.
Someone on one of the blogs claims that is not Lorenzo but a Brandon Pietersz. I found the attorney Pietersz that represented one of the security guards but no Brandon or Brian on the island of Aruba. I think someone is trying to misdirect.

I was able to get there this morning.
I can guarantee that Jaime and the other person, whether it be Lorenzo or whomever ... are NOT the same person.
The pictures dont look alike. Their features are very different.
I have talked to Jaime Carrasquilla online and he is NOT that other guy nor Lorenzo. In fact, the other guy in the pic with the blonde hair is NOT even Lorenzo. So this is total BS. Please check your facts and data before speculating and rumor mongering. Thank you.
Listen Bridi, that guy is Brandon Pietersz.No one is trying to misdirect you guys.That's for sure. Brandon is a local, and you can ask anybody here if that's true. And haven't you guys anything better to do then following this case.There are plenty of missing people in US, go and mind yourself with them and leave us alone.

The people that post with such certainty and convistion of who this is or is not post anonymously and supply no proof whatsoever then wonder why noone believes them.
If you want be believed supply some proof of some type. Maybe a link or an email address or maybe even you could couls email Breezy with your supposed proof, if you had any. But chance are you don't. You are probably just liars.

If Van Rijn (if that is who the dreadlocked guy is) is Vandersloot' oldest son, could he be old enough to have a son approx. Joran's age? OR could it be a cousin or nephew?
But again I do not think this is necessarily the same person.
I haven't been convinced yet that this isn't Lorenzo, you can see that this jamie pulls his hair back, its so tight to his head.If the dreadlocks picture weren't so bright on the face. Look at his face again, the scar on his cheek, the jawline, the nose, its the same person. I couldn't find any info supporting that this is brandon either, and those that claim it isn't brandon, send proof this site is wrong. I also had seen a picture comparison of the dreadlocks guy to PVDS, pretty amazing, the likeness between the two. Maybe we are all being mislead, and this speculation is dead on!
